- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 3 eggs
- 1 large onion, very finely chopped
- 2 c. milk, divided
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
- 1 T. EACH salt and ground pepper
- 1/4 t. garlic powder
- 1 jar Mama’s Preserves (any fruit) Jalapeño Preserves (click here to purchase preserves)
Combine beef and pork in large mixing bowl, mix well. Add eggs and onion, mix well. Then add flour, followed by 1 c. milk. Mix well. Then add oats and the remaining 1 c. milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix very well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Form into small size balls about 1″. Fry in skillet over medium heat until browned and completely cooked. Heat jar of Mama’s Jalapeño Preserves in a glass measuring cup in microwave until melted. Brush on meatballs and enjoy!
